How do I create a countdown?
Tap the + button in the app, enter a title, select a date, and choose a color. If you pick a future date, you'll see "days until." If you pick a past date, you'll see "days since."
How do I add widgets to my home screen?
Long-press on your home screen, tap the + button in the top corner, search for "Count Easy," and select your preferred widget size. After adding, tap the widget to choose which countdown to display.
How do I add a lock screen widget?
Long-press on your lock screen, tap "Customize," select the lock screen, and tap the widget area. Find Count Easy and add a widget to see your countdown at a glance.
What's the difference between "days until" and "days since"?
"Days until" counts down to a future date (like a vacation or birthday). "Days since" counts up from a past date (like tracking how long you've maintained a habit or since a milestone).
How do repeating events work?
When you create a countdown, you can set it to repeat annually. This is perfect for birthdays and anniversaries — the countdown automatically resets to the next year after the date passes.
Can I sync my countdowns between devices?
Count Easy currently stores all data locally on your device. There's no cloud sync between devices. This keeps your data private and the app working offline.
What happens if I delete the app?
All your countdown data will be deleted. If you have iOS backups enabled, your data may be included in those backups and restored if you reinstall.
Why aren't my widgets updating?
iOS controls when widgets refresh. If a widget seems stuck, try removing and re-adding it. Make sure Low Power Mode isn't limiting background refreshes.
