Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Mood Easy does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your mood entries stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.

Why This Matters

Mood data is deeply personal. How you feel day to day is private information that deserves protection. We built Mood Easy with this principle at its core — your emotional wellbeing is no one's business but yours.

Data Storage

All mood entries, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no sign-up required. Your data exists only on your iPhone and (if you use it) your Apple Watch.

Apple HealthKit

Mood Easy can optionally save mood entries to Apple Health as State of Mind records, but only if you explicitly grant permission. HealthKit data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and never leaves your device through Mood Easy.

If you deny HealthKit access, the app continues to work normally. HealthKit integration is entirely optional.

Analytics & Tracking

Mood Easy contains no analytics frameworks, no ad SDKs, no tracking pixels, and no telemetry of any kind. We do not use any third-party services that collect data. We have no idea how many people use the app, how often, or what moods they log.

Network Usage

Mood Easy makes no network requests. The app works entirely offline. The only network activity associated with the app is through the App Store for updates.

Notifications

Mood Easy can send local reminder notifications to prompt you to log your mood. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any servers.

Data Deletion

When you delete Mood Easy from your device, all app data is permanently removed. There is no backup we hold, no cloud copy, and no way to recover it. Your data is truly yours.

Children's Privacy

Mood Easy does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page with the new effective date. Since Mood Easy collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
