What breathing patterns are available?

Breathe Easy includes three proven breathing patterns: Box Breathing (4-4-4-4), 4-7-8 Relaxation, and Coherent Breathing (5-5). Each is designed to help you relax, focus, or prepare for sleep.

How do I use the Apple Watch app?

The Apple Watch app runs completely standalone — no iPhone required. Open the app on your watch, select a breathing pattern, and start. Haptic cues guide you through each inhale, hold, and exhale phase.

How does HealthKit integration work?

When you grant permission, Breathe Easy saves completed sessions to Apple Health as mindfulness minutes. This is optional — the app works fully without it. You can enable or disable this in Settings at any time.

Can I customize session duration?

Yes! In Settings, you can adjust the default duration for each breathing pattern. Sessions can be as short as 1 minute or as long as you like.

How do I use the widgets?

Long-press on your Home Screen or Lock Screen and tap the "+" button to add widgets. Breathe Easy offers small and medium Home Screen widgets, plus circular and rectangular Lock Screen widgets for quick session access.

Is my data private?

Absolutely. Breathe Easy collects zero data. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no network requests. Your session history stays on your device. Read our privacy policy for full details.

The app isn't syncing between my iPhone and Apple Watch

Breathe Easy stores session data locally on each device. If you have HealthKit enabled on both devices, your mindfulness minutes will appear in Apple Health regardless of which device you used.
