Privacy Policy
Cycle Easy - Period Tracker · Effective February 15, 2026
🔒 The Bottom Line
Cycle Easy collects absolutely nothing. Your period data, symptoms, and cycle history never leave your device. There are no servers. There is no cloud. There is no way for us — or anyone else — to access your information. Ever.
Why This Matters
We built Cycle Easy because we believe menstrual health data deserves the strongest possible privacy protections. In today's world, this data is uniquely sensitive. We refuse to create any system that could potentially be compelled to reveal your private health information.
We can't share what we don't have. This isn't a policy choice — it's an architectural one. There is literally no mechanism for your data to leave your device through our app.
Data Storage
All data — your period dates, symptoms, predictions, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is:
- Stored only on your device — nowhere else
- Protected by your device passcode and Face ID/Touch ID
- Encrypted by iOS using your device's security
- Never transmitted to any server, ever
No Accounts
There is no sign-up, no login, no user account. You download the app and start using it immediately. We have no way to identify you, track you, or associate any data with you.
No Cloud Sync
Your data does not sync to iCloud, our servers, or any third-party service. If you delete the app, your data is permanently erased. If you get a new phone, you start fresh (unless you restore from an encrypted device backup you control).
No Analytics or Tracking
Cycle Easy contains:
- No analytics frameworks (no Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
- No crash reporting services (no Sentry, Crashlytics, etc.)
- No advertising SDKs
- No tracking pixels
- No third-party code that could collect data
We don't know how many people use the app. We don't know what features are popular. We accept this trade-off because your privacy matters more than our analytics.
No Network Requests
Cycle Easy makes zero network connections. The app works entirely offline. You could use it in airplane mode forever. The only network activity associated with the app is through the App Store for initial download and updates — both handled by Apple, not us.
Apple HealthKit (Optional)
Cycle Easy can optionally write menstrual cycle data to Apple Health. This feature is:
- Disabled by default — you must explicitly enable it
- Controlled entirely by you — you choose what to share
- Local to your device — governed by Apple's privacy policy
If you enable HealthKit sync, data flows only between Cycle Easy and Apple Health on your device. We never see this data. Cycle Easy only writes to HealthKit; it does not read any health data from other sources.
You can disable HealthKit at any time in the app settings. Data already written to Apple Health remains there (managed by Apple Health, not us).
Your Control
You have complete control over your data:
- Export — Download all your data as a JSON file anytime
- Delete — Erase all data with a single tap
- Uninstall — Removing the app permanently deletes all data
Children's Privacy
Cycle Easy does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data from any user, there is no children's data to protect.
Legal Requests
We cannot comply with legal requests for user data because we possess no user data. There are no servers to subpoena, no databases to search, no records to produce. Your data exists only on your device, protected by your device's security and any legal protections that apply to your personal property.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page with a new effective date. However, our core commitment will never change: Cycle Easy will never collect, store, or transmit your personal data. Any app update that changed this would be a completely different app.
