Frequently asked questions
How do I shoot?
Tap to start the clock, then flick a ball up toward the hoop. A longer flick shoots harder, and the angle of your flick aims left and right. The meter on the right shows your power; the middle is the sweet spot. Balls roll back into the tray after every shot, so keep flicking.
How does scoring work?
Each rack lasts 30 seconds. A basket is 2 points. In the last 10 seconds, Hot Shot time, every basket is 3 (you can turn Hot Shot off in the game setup or Settings). Make three in a row and you’re on fire: every basket is worth 1 more until you miss. Balls already in the air when the buzzer sounds still count.
How does pass-the-phone work?
Add up to four shooters before a game, each with their own jersey color. Everyone shoots the same rack in turn, and Pebbles tells you who’s up next. After each rack, whoever is behind shoots first on the next one. The podium at the end has an award for everyone.
My shots keep missing. Any tips?
Find one flick length that drops on the Warm-Up rack and keep it. Turn on Assist arc in Settings to see dots showing where your flick will fly. On moving racks, shoot where the hoop is going, not where it is.
What’s free, and what can I buy?
Boardwalk, all three racks, is free, and you can try the first rack of every other court for free. The Pebbles Pass ($2.99) unlocks Neon Alley and Moon Court. Wild Places, Fun & Games and Dreamlands ($4.99 each) add three courts each. Sweet Shop, Sports Day and Space Cadet ($1.99 each) add four balls each. Lifetime ($19.99) unlocks every court and ball, including ones we make later. All purchases are one-time, with no ads or subscriptions, and work with Family Sharing.
Do ball skins change how the ball flies?
No. A ball changes Peb’s look and trail only. Swish Gold, Hot Hand and Night Owl are free: earn them by playing.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open the Locker and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. Family Sharing members get purchases automatically once sharing is on.
I quit in the middle of a game.
Unfinished games are saved. Resume from the Lobby or from History.
How do I move to a new iPhone?
Your games are in your iPhone backup (iCloud or computer). Restore it on the new phone. Purchases come back with Restore purchases.
