What do the blood pressure categories mean?

Pressure Easy uses the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines to classify your readings:

• Normal: Less than 120/80 mmHg
• Elevated: 120-129 / less than 80 mmHg
• High Stage 1: 130-139 / 80-89 mmHg
• High Stage 2: 140+ / 90+ mmHg
• Crisis: 180+ / 120+ mmHg — seek medical attention

When should I measure my blood pressure?

For the most accurate readings:

• Measure at the same times each day (morning and evening)
• Rest for 5 minutes before measuring
• Sit with your back supported and feet flat on the floor
• Don't smoke, drink caffeine, or exercise 30 minutes before
• Take 2-3 readings, 1 minute apart, and record the average

Does Pressure Easy sync with Apple Health?

Yes! HealthKit integration is optional. You can choose to read existing blood pressure data from Apple Health and/or write new readings to it. Your data stays on your device — we never see it.

How do I share my readings with my doctor?

Go to the Trends tab and tap the export button. Pressure Easy generates a professional PDF report with all your readings and statistics. You can then email it, AirDrop it, or print it for your appointment.

Can I log readings on my Apple Watch?

Yes! The Apple Watch app provides a quick, step-by-step flow to log systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings. It syncs automatically with your iPhone.

Is Pressure Easy a medical device?

No. Pressure Easy is a tracking tool to help you log and visualize your blood pressure readings. It does not measure blood pressure — you need a blood pressure monitor for that. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical advice.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device. There's no cloud sync, no accounts, and no servers involved. Your blood pressure readings are private and stay private.
